(7/28) Generative Video Artist

We are an established London-based production company launching a new, fully AI-native content arm. We are looking for a Generative Video Artist to be the first hire on this team. This is not a role where AI speeds up an existing process. AI is the process. The ideal candidate understands the difference between producing one beautiful shot and producing consistent, high-quality output at scale. Responsibilities - Produce content end to end: character design, reference generation, video and motion, sound, edit, and colour - Operate and improve our production process, and become the person who knows it best - Maintain visual consistency: keeping characters, lighting, and style stable across scenes and outputs - Collaborate with the technical team; no coding expected, but you should be able to spot what could be automated and communicate it clearly - Track, test, and adopt new models and tools as the field evolves - Deliver consistent volume, not just isolated highlights; scale is part of quality here Qualifications - Portfolio required, and we are looking for something specific in it: work with continuity. Not a single impressive film or a scattered showreel, but a body of work where the same character, the same world, and the same visual language hold across multiple pieces. This matters more to us than years of experience. - Depth in current AI video and audio generation tools; you don't need all of them, but you need real depth in at least one - Comfort with traditional post tools; manual work on top of AI output is half the job - Ability to translate between creative and technical: reading a service's documentation, understanding what it does and where its limits and costs are, and describing your needs clearly enough for a developer to build on - Process thinking: you have built or worked inside a repeatable production pipeline - Visual judgment: knowing what looks cheap and what makes a viewer stop watching Details - Full-time position, monthly salary - London, hybrid working - Start as soon as possible - Company, project details, and compensation shared at first interview - Please send: portfolio link, plus a short note telling us what was hardest to solve in a continuity-based project you made, and how you solved it Email zeynep@seastarfilm.com to apply!
