The Liminal Space is currently working on a climate futures game for a policy think tank which includes narratives explored on a bespoke website. We would like to hire a freelance AI video maker who is available early-mid August to help us create a series of 15–20 short video clips, each about 10 seconds in length. These film clips will appear on the website alongside stills imagery and narrative text. As mini-sets of content, they will together atmospherically communicate key events within the fictional world of the game. Our aesthetic brief is as follows: We want a raw, documentary style aesthetic, as if the clips have been taken on a (good) mobile phone or by a broadcast camera but from a solo film maker on the scene. We don’t want to include people, dialogue, or detailed exposition. If this interests you and you feel it fits your skillset, we would love to see your work in action. We will then reach out and request (paid) test brief for candidates who we think are the best fit for the project, This will involve creating a short (under 10 seconds) video based on provided sample issues.
